Yacht Catering in Miami: What to Know Before You Book

October 8, 2026 · 6 min read · By Jérôme Abraham

Yacht catering in Miami means the chef comes aboard and cooks where you are anchored — not trays delivered to the dock. Chef Jérôme Abraham of Lavish Gastronomy Privé caters charters and private boats across South Florida, with menus built specifically for service on the water.

What yacht catering actually looks like

The chef boards with the ingredients, works from the galley, and serves course by course while you cruise or sit at anchor. There is no transport of plated food, no reheating, and no buffet trays sweating in the sun — the meal is cooked on board and served at its best moment.

For daytime charters, passed canapés and grazing selections keep the deck free and the mood casual. For an evening on the water, a seated multi-course dinner turns the boat into the best restaurant in the marina.

The yacht menu

The dedicated yacht menu is $125 per person: your group chooses ten selections from twelve, spanning canapés, starters, mains and sweets. Every dish is chosen to travel well from galley to deck and to be eaten comfortably on board.

Beverage packages and signature cocktails are planned separately, so the drinks match the menu without dictating it. Dietary needs — vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergies — are designed into the menu before the quote is issued.

Which boats and marinas are covered

Service covers private yachts and chartered boats across South Florida marinas — Miami and Miami Beach, Sunny Isles, Fort Lauderdale, and up to Palm Beach. The galley size, crew and guest count are confirmed in advance so the menu and staffing fit the boat.
